Nadia approached us to create a brand for her new natural body care company, Body Craft Essentials, including multiple logo iterations and skinning of her Shopify site.
Branding Design
Nadia’s Pinterest board featured natural botanicals, sketched drawings of leaves and flowers, and warm, organic colours. We knew right away that her brand would be clean and minimalist, a reflection of the ingredients in her product line. We began by sketching various botanical elements, focusing on Jojoba buds and stems. We wanted to emulate the style of a field identification book while also keeping lines smooth and modern.
Our Process
We began with hand-sketching various botanicals in Procreate as well as drawing simplistic line diagrams in Adobe Illustrator. We then presented several typeface options, some with custom ligatures. The final presentation was to combine the Jojoba diagrams with the word marks to create a cohesive logo.
