Not Now, Siopao!

Author + Illustrator

This is the third book in the Lost Dumpling series!

In Not Now, Siopao we meet Siopao: a sweet, ube-filled bun with a curious mind and a voice full of wonder — but everywhere she goes, she’s told to quiet down. After feeling too loud, too much, and too different, Siopao begins to fade… until her dumpling friends remind her that being bold, bright, and entirely herself is something to celebrate. A tender story about self-expression, belonging, and finding the right time and place to shine.

I wrote and illustrated Not Now, Siopao  in 2024. This project was made possible by the Asian Arts & Culture Society and RBC.
