What does “Jacaranda” mean?
A jacaranda is a fragrant, flowering tree that grows in the southern hemisphere. Kirstin and her family are originally from South Africa, where jacarandas are abundant. The name represents Kirstin’s roots in South Africa as her life branches out in Canada.
Where are you located?
Jacaranda Marketing + Design is based in Port Coquitlam in British Columbia, Canada. Reach us on (778) 987-5759.
What is your payment policy?
We accept cheques, credit cards, and Interac e-transfers. Invoices are issued before work begins and we do not offer 30 payment terms (invoices are payable upon receipt). For larger projects, we split the charge onto multiple invoices — one when work begins and one at substantial completion. We are flexible and happy to generate multiple smaller invoices if necessary.
What are your hours of operation?
Jacaranda is open for business Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 5pm, excluding all statutory holidays. Tuesdays and Fridays are reserved for client work. We are often available via email outside of these hours, however we ask clients for their patience and understanding if emails are returned only on our next regular business day.
What platform do you use to build websites?
We now exclusively design and build in WordPress only. Our preference is for the Divi framework, however we are always looking for new and creative design opportunities and love bringing fresh ideas to life! We can connect you with many talented and reliable partners who design on other platforms including SquareSpace, Joomla, Shopify, and more.
